How fast can you actually get here?+
Most calls are answered live and dispatched the same day, seven days a week. Every technician lives in the 941 and drives a stocked truck, so the common failures — springs, cables, rollers, openers — are usually fixed on the first visit rather than booked for a second one.
What does a broken spring cost to replace?+
It depends on the door's weight and whether it runs one spring or two, and anyone quoting a firm number before seeing it is guessing. We give a flat price before the work starts, not after. If the second spring is at the end of its life we will tell you — and we will tell you when it is not.
Do you handle hurricane-rated doors and the permit?+
Yes — supply, installation, the county permit and the final inspection paperwork. Wind-load requirements differ by county and by how exposed the property is, so the right door for a Punta Gorda canal home is not the right door for an inland Parrish subdivision.
Which brands do you work on?+
All the major ones. We are an authorised Haas and CHI dealer and install LiftMaster, Genie and Chamberlain openers, but we repair Clopay, Wayne Dalton, Raynor, Overhead Door, Amarr and the discontinued models people inherit with a house.
Is it worth repairing an old door, or should I replace it?+
Usually repair. A door with sound panels and a straight track is worth keeping, and springs and rollers cost a fraction of a replacement. Replacement makes sense when panels are rusted through, the door is not rated for your wind zone, or an insurance or grant question is in play — and we will tell you which one you are in.
Do you charge just to come out?+
You get a price before any work starts and you decide from there. Nobody on the crew works on commission, so there is no incentive to find you a problem you do not have.
